PE 100 / PP Branch

A branch in a pipeline system usually connects two pipelines whose diameters can be the same or different. It serves either to unite two media flows into one continuing media flow or to divide one media flow into two different media flows. The outlet or inlet is usually arranged at a certain angle < 90 degrees to the main axis in order to optimise the media flow. If the outlet or inlet is arranged at 90 degrees, it is also referred to as a T-piece. However, designations for a branch can also be as follows: T-piece 60 degrees or T-piece 45 degrees. If all pipe dimensions are of the same diameter, it is also called a branch of equal diameter. If the outlet/inlet is reduced, it is called a reduced branch.
